Bitcoin casinos have really grown in popularity multiple folds in recent times, here’s a graph illustrating the same:
So yes, without further delay let’s get you what you came here for.
What are Bitcoins and CryptoCurrencies?
Because all Bitcoin casino uses Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies to function, it’s important for us to know, what Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are?, before we can move on to the discussion on Bitcoin casinos, isn’t it?
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, the very first one of them, in the context of casinos you can consider them to be the chips as in real-life casinos, as it’s Bitcoin which is used to bet on these casinos. A cryptocurrency (including Bitcoin) is basically digital money, which you can purchase using real-money and then use on the Internet or in the real-world as well.
The primary benefit of Bitcoin is that it’s anonymous, decentralized and untraceable to a large extent, so there’s no trace of who buys the Bitcoins, or where you spend it hence providing anonymity to the buyers and users.
We will show you how to buy Bitcoins as well in the later sections, but for now just know that Bitcoin is the currency using which you use to gamble on the Bitcoin casinos. Some casinos also accept other cryptocurrencies except Bitcoin, these currencies too are digital currencies and can be used to bet on these casinos. Although note that while Bitcoin is anonymous, most of the other currencies aren’t.
Bitcoin is much more than just casino money, it’s a revolution, you can read an ultra-detailed guide on What Bitcoins are and how they work here.
What is a Bitcoin Casino?
A Bitcoin casino is exactly what the name says, it’s a Casino, on the internet, on a website, which primarily uses and lets users gamble using Bitcoins, but sometimes other cryptocurerncies and even fiat (normal) currencies (e.g. USD/ EUR etc) are accepted as well.
Users register on these casinos using their E-mail Ids, choose from a number of games available, deposit their Bitcoins or any other currency the platform accepts, and bet on the games using the deposited money.
Yes, whatever money is won in these casinos can be cashed out in real-life, to a real, physical bank account as well just like a real-life casino. Also, whatever money is lost in these casinos in the form of the digital currencies, is lost forever just like real-life money.
Another fact about a these casinos is that, even though most games are based on an algorithm and software, some casinos also offer Live Games, these games are played on a real table, in the real-world with a real dealer, and streamed to the players on the website, so it basically is a real-casino game, just on a live-stream.
So in a nutshell, Bitcoin casino is a Casino on the Internet, which accepts Cryptocurrency. Yes that’s the simplest explanation I can come up with for them.
How to get Started on theses Bitcoin Casinos?
Considering this is the first time you’re hearing of a Bitcoin casino, how do you get started on a casino and start gambling? Well in almost all the cases, it’s a three step process: Registration > Deposit of Funds > Start playing.
On every online casino out there, you will find a Register/ join now link or button, it mostly is placed at the top-bar. Click on it and fill in the details, in most cases nothing much is asked except your E-mail ID and a password.
In some cases there may be an optional E-mail verification which I’m sure you know how to complete, after that once you’re logged in to your casino dashboard, you’ll always see a deposit button. The placement of the button or link may vary depending on casinos, but it’ll exist for sure!
Click on the button/link, in some cases you may have to choose your desired cryptocurrency as well (e.g. Ethereum, Monero, Doge instead of Bitcoins), anyway whatever currency you choose the casino will give you a deposit address, simply send your funds to this address to start gambling!
(Keep reading, we’ve included a detailed guide on Buy Bitcoins & How to deposit funds in the later sections, where we’ve covered not only cryptocurrency deposits, but also how you can deposit funds using your normal credit/debit cards).
Top 7 Bitcoin Casinos in the Industry
So finally, we’re down to one of the major objectives of this article, even if it’s your first-day, or even if you already have some experience of gambling with Bitcoin, this Bitcoin casino list would serve your purpose either way. Here’s why this list is worth going through, I personally have a Bitcoin gambling experience of around 2 years (purely for research purposes), so I know quite a few things first-hand.
Secondly, I tear a casino apart when I review it, not a single aspect of any Casino is spared which you folks need to know, ranging from trust-factors, licensing, registration, number of games available, fairness, currencies accepted, limits, bonuses, and support! And all of that has been personally experienced by me so it’s not heresy either!
So here are the top 7 casinos, arranged in a ranking system to make things easier for you, the #1 casino is the best in my opinion, while the #7 is the 7th best as simple as that.
BitStarz again is another one of the good guys, and the two of its strongest suits are its massive bonuses, along with huge currency support. Here’s the overview for the casino:
- Website: https://www.bitstarz.com
- Sign up: No documents required / instant.
- Sign up Bonus: Specially for our readers: – 20 free Spins (No deposit required) +150%+ first deposit +180 free spins.
- Other Bonuses: Game-based bonuses, Weekly and Reload bonuses.
- Games: 2400+
- Currencies: Bitcoin, EUR, SEK, NOK, ETH, CNY, RUB, BCH, DOG, AUD, USD, PLN, NZD, CAD, DOGE, Tether
- Provably Fair: Yes
- License: Curacao laws.
- Support: Live Chat / Emails
- Rating: 5/5
Again, starting with the trust factors, yes it’s a Provably fair casino which can be verified from its Provably fair page, so yes most of its games are fair, and with random results. Then it too is a completely licensed organization under the Curacao law, and its parent company, as well as subsidiary details can be found on the site’s footer.
It too has a few seals on its homepage, even though most of those are support seals, some such as AskGamblers and GPWA Approved portal seals to some extent can be considered as trust or authenticity boosters (only feebly).
It’s here since 2015, hence making it a 3-year-old platform and so when all the factors add up, I suppose we can say it’s a platform worthy of our trust, isn’t it?
Then we should be taking the bonuses into account, the most exclusive point about Bitstarz is that it offers 20 free spins to users simply for registering. No amount of funds need to be deposited whatsoever. However this bonus is country-specific and not available to players from some countries. There’s a 150%+ first deposit bonus as well, along with 180 free spins.
What makes BitStarz unique is the fact that users just after registration get to choose the bonus package they want from a selection of two. Here are the options:
So you can either go with the 1BTC+ 180 free spins bonus, or the 2BTC +VIP club bonus. The 1BTC bonus may be capped at just 1BTC, but it’s matched 100% with whatever you deposit.
The 2BTC bonus despite being matched only 50% with your first deposit, actually offers a bigger threshold. Anyway, Bitstarz is the first Bitcoin casino to offer a bonus-selection choice to its users.
A second deposit bonus with 50% bonus, again 50% for third and 100% for fourth deposit bonuses can be availed.
So that makes the fixed deposit bonuses a total of 350% which I’d say is almost the average industry bonus, then there are Game based bonuses, again an unique concept which awards you different kinds and types of bonuses depending on the games you’re playing.
That’s not all, there also are Monday reload bonuses upto 50% of your deposits (limited at 50EUR), and there also is a Free spins Wednesday which offers free spins every single Wednesday. Although note that every Bitcoin casino has its own limits and rules for the bonuses, so make sure you read them individually before depositing any amount hoping to double that money up instantly.
As for games, I counted over 500 games in the slots category alone before giving up, so what I’m saying is the Slots game-type itself has probably 600-700 games. Then the Jackpot has exactly 24 games, Table games is armed with 22 of them, and then there is the Live casino with games like Roulette, Baccarat, and some other individual games. So overall, there’s nothing to complain about with the Bitstarz Bitcoin casino as far as availability of games is concerned.
They updated their registration page recently, and now the process is extremely fast. The only required details are your E-mail, a password and a preferred currency.
The currencies that Bitstarz supports are almost the same as the ones supported by Betchain, which include Bitcoin, EUR, SEK, NOK, ETH, CNY, RUB, BCH, DOG, AUD, USD, PLN, NZD, CAD, DOGE, and Tether. Because it supports fiats as well, hence it allows you to deposit funds directly using your credit/debit cards or some payment portals such as WebMoney and Neteller.
A number of other payment methods such as UPayCard, Astropay Direct, Alfa Click, iDEAL, iDebit, Skrill, Yandex money, Zimpler and nearly a dozen more of these are available.
Although note that the deposit modes too are country-specific. Meaning, not all deposit modes are available for users from all countries.
All fiat currency deposits are charged with a 2.5% fee, with ComePay being the exception. It charges a higher fee of 5% for each deposit. Also, all the other modes of fiat deposit are free.
All cryptocurrency deposits are 100% free, the minimum deposit limit/transaction for all fiat currencies is Euro 5, with the maximum limit being EURO 4000. While the minimum deposit limit/transaction for Bitcoin is 0.0001 mBTC and there doesn’t seem to be a maximum limit. Although the limits vary for the other cryptocurrencies.
The support team for the Bitcoin casino can be reached via Live chat, as well as E-mails although again the E-mails are kind of delayed, but yes the Live-chat is instant and can be used to get your problems sorted out.
mBit casino has always been one of the best choices whenever we’ve talked about the best Bitcoin casinos, again the two governing reasons being, established trust and reputation, along with huge number of available games.
Here’s an overview of the casino:
- Website: https://www.mbitcasino.com/
- Sign up: Instant and Anonymous.
- Welcome Bonus: 300+ Free Spin + 5 BTC
- Other bonuses: Second/Third/Fourth deposit bonuses + Weekly bonuses.
- Games: 900+
- Currencies: BTC/ ETH / BCH / Doge/ EUR / LTC.
- Exclusive Loyalty Program.
- Provably Fair.
- License: Curacao Laws.
- Support: Live Chat / E-mail Forums
- Rating: 4.5/5
The only reason mBit casino is on the #1 spot on this list and not #3 or 4 because that it has slightly higher number of games than FortuneJack except that it pretty much equals to, or even beats FortuneJack in some aspects.
Anyway, starting with the trust factors again, it’s Provably fair casino, so no you can’t verify its fairness but at this point of time, it doesn’t matter because mBit casino has proved its legitimacy in the industry for nearly half a decade now!
Apart from that, it too is a company registered under the Curacao laws and is transparent enough with its licensing and registration details, for e.g. its registration number- 131879 along with office address Wilhelminalaan 13, Willemstad, Curacao are publicly shared for public knowledge on the site’s footer.
Then we consider the Bonuses and promotional offers, this is where it beats FortuneJack, by offering 300% first-deposit bonus which will 3x your deposited money whereas FortuneJack only doubled it (not that I’m complaining). It also has a 50% second deposit, and 25% third deposit bonus.
And not just the deposit bonuses, it’s a casino which also has forever running weekly bonuses, which offers us 50% second-deposit and 25% third deposit bonus, along with weekly bonuses for Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays as well.
Did I mention it also has a very exclusive VIP loyalty program? You get loyalty points for just being a loyal, regular player, and these points can be redeemed for real, physical gifts at the gift store, and you also stand a chance to win the VIP lottery, without doing anything from your side!
So all in all, mBit casino is probably the most bonus-rich Bitcoin casino on this entire list, adding up to a total of around 275% fixed, one-time bonus, along with the forever incoming loyalty and weekly bonuses. How about games? Well on that front as well, mBit casino can very well top the charts with over 900 games in total, and there’s no other casino except FortuneJack on this list which can stand up to that mark!
It too has a total of 7 categories on the platform, which are High stakes, Slots, BlackJack, Live games, Jackpot and table games. And it too has Slots as the most dominant type with 162 games in the category, although the other types too are comparatively well stocked with around 60-70 games each.
Obviously, Live games and Video poker are available as well, it’s worth mentioning individually because not every Bitcoin casino has these nifty additions so this makes mBit special and hence the mention.
As far as the registration process goes, that too isn’t complicated and all you need to provide is your E-mail ID, along with a strong password and you’re all set. The user-interface too is as simple as possible with a big red button on the dashboard saying make a deposit which you can click to make your first deposit and start gambling right away.
Then we have to take the supported currencies into account, as of now mBit supports a wide range of currencies which include Bitcoin/Ethereum/Bitcoin Cash/Doge/Litecoin as well as the fiat currency- EUR as well. Although I must mention, the EUR deposit address almost never loads and I’ve never sent any EUR to
The minimum deposit limit for Bitcoin is 0.003BTC, while that for all other cryptocurrencies is 0.01 of that currency (e.g. 0.01LTC, 0.01 ETH etc). Although for the fiat currency EUR, the minimum deposit limit is 10EUR, and again like FortuneJack, it too doesn’t have a maximum withdrawal limit so you can withdraw any amount that you win.
The support team is too worth singing praise-songs for, being 5 long years in the industry they did learn a thing or two about support, and let me say their support wasn’t this good in the earlier days, but as of now it’s impressive, they can be reached via Live-chat as well as E-mails, and I’ve seen them reply to problems on AskGamblers forums as well.
I believe this then covers the deepest darkest secrets that mBit casino holds? In case you still aren’t satisfied, worry not we’ve got more than enough options for you to choose from today before you settle in on the gambling platform of your choice.
I may have said this in our other casino reviews, but 7Bit is one of the few casinos which could have a neck to neck competition with FortuneJack, mBitCasino considering the fact that there almost is nothing missing with 7bit that FortuneJack offers.
It has almost the same number of games, trust-factors, and a lot of fiat currency support, anyway here’s an overview:
- Website: https://7bitcasino.com
- Sign up: Instant & Anonymous.
- Games: 1000+
- Welcome Bonus: 100+ Free Spin + 5 BTC
- Other Bonuses: Weekly bonuses.
- Currencies: BITCOIN, EUR, GBP, CAD, RUB, AUD, SEK, NOK and USD.
- Provably fair: Yes
- License: Curacao Laws.
- Support: E-mails + Live chat.
- Rating: 4.5/5
Starting with the trust factors, yes it’s a Provably fair casino so you can verify its fairness and randomness on their Provably fair page. And it too has a well-populated footer which is overflowing with trust-seals hence guaranteeing it as a casino we can trust.
Then, it too is a company completely licensed under the Curacao laws and hence does have an authority to answer to, and the registration number of the platform – 131879 along with its office address – Stasinou 1, MITSI Building 1, 1st Floor, Flat/Office 4, Plateia Eleftherias, Nicosia, Cyprus; is provided for complete transparency hence sealing all doubts that one may have regarding its trust-level.
Then coming to the bonuses available, it too is pretty generous with its Bonuses, although not as much as mBit casino or FortuneJack, offering a 100% first deposit bonus, but only upto 100 EURO, along with 100 free spins.
And then there are second, third and fourth deposit bonuses as well, amounting to 50%, 50% and 100% respectively. Hence, the total fixed bonus for 7bit casino adds up to around 300% which is impressive. But that’s not all, it also has weekly bonuses on Monday, Wednesday and Weekdays, amounting to 50% on Mondays, 100 free spins on Wednesdays, and a 10% cashback on Weekends.
So in a nutshell, the bonuses may not be a lot, but they amount to something and are offered constantly as long as you’re a player at the platform which is something we can live with.
Now coming down to the number and types of games available, this is what makes it one of the top 3 Bitcoin casinos in the industry, the fact that it offers over 1000 games! As for types of games available, currently it offers only Slots, Table Games, Jackpots and Live games so that’s something it could improve upon.
The support of Live games is another reason why it’s included in the top-most positions on this online casino Bitcoin list, because most casinos in the later parts of this list aren’t exactly video-compatible.
Again, slots is the category with the most number of games more than even what FortuneJack offers with 900 games in the category, but the other types kind of fall in the minority group, with just around 20-50 games in each. But overall, 1000 games is more than I’ll ever actually play on so yes I guess it’s a good number.
Then let’s talk of the currency support, it’s primarily a fiat-based platform, even though it supports Bitcoins, that’s the only cryptocurrency supported, except that it supports the Rouble, Euro, Australian Dollar, GBP, SEK, NOK and USD. Because of its support for fiat currencies, it allows you to deposit funds directly using your credit/debit cards, or payment processors such as Skrill or Paysafe.
Finally the support comes into consideration, like any other online casino, the support team for 7Bit too can be reached via E-mails and Live-chat although I didn’t see them much active on third-party forums, yet these dedicated channels are pretty fast and satisfactory.
Katsubet Casino may not be the absolute best crypto casino out there (or, is it?) However, it sure is a Bitcoin casino which checks most, if not all the boxes for a very desirable cryptocurrency casino.
- Website: https://www.katsubet.com/
- Welcome Bonus: €500.00
- KYC: Mandatory
- Currencies: Fiat + Cryptocurrencies
- Provably Fair: No
- License: Curacao Laws.
- Support: Live Chat
- Rating: 5/5
Katsubet is a casino registered under the Curacao laws with the license number- 8048/JAZ2020-013.
The bonuses are pretty decent even if not very impressive. The first deposit offers a 100% bonus up to €100.00. It also offers an additional 100 spins.
The second deposit will get you 75% bonus, which is capped at €100.00. The third deposit bonus will get you 50% match up to €200. And finally, the fourth deposit will get you 100% up to €100.00.
Additionally, every Monday a 50% bonus is offered. Wednesdays offer 30, 80 and 200 free spins. Didn’t have a good week? Every week the casino offers cashbacks up to 20% of what you lost during the week, depending on your VIP level.
Talking of VIP levels, there are a total of 8 levels. Levels are upgraded by playing more games and accumulating points. The first (lowest) level gives you 3% cashback for the weekly bonus, the highest level gives you 20%.
A plethora of payment modes are available. These include cards, Purplepay, iDebit, Neosurf, Ecopayz, and Interac. When it comes to Cryptocurrencies, you can pay using BTC, LTC, and USDT.
All fiat modes have a minimum deposit requirement of $/€10.00 and capped at a maximum limit of $/€ 4000.00 per transaction.
Bitcoin is only accepted when it’s equal to a minimum of 0.0001 BTC or more. The limit is 0.01LTC and 0.0001 USDT for the other two Cryptocurrencies.
Funds can be withdrawn via a number of different modes including bank transfers, virtual cards, credit cards, Cryptocurrencies and online wallets.
Withdrawals are free except for card withdrawals which cost 2.5%/withdrawal. Bank transfers have a higher fee of 7.5%.
The only major downer is that KYC is mandatory on the casino and you can’t withdraw funds without verifying your identity. Finally, even if you’re completely new, their 24X7 live chat will guide you through any and all problems you may have while using the casino.
FortuneJack is arguably the best Bitcoin betting site that exists, it’s been 4 years since it was born in 2014 and the two primary factors which make it my first choice are its massive number of available games, along with commendable support team!
Here’s an overview:
- Website: https://www.fortunejack.com/
- Sign up: Instant
- Welcome (1st Deposit) Bonus: 110% + 250 Spins
- Other Bonuses: Second-Third-fourth deposit bonuses available as well.
- Games: 1,000+
- Currencies you can play with: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge, Litecoin, DogeCash, Dash, ZCash, Monero And Bitcoin Cash.
- Provably fair: Yes
- License: Curacao laws.
In all my reviews, I consider Trust-factors to be the first concern, only if a platform is trustworthy would all the other factors matter, right? So let me start with the fact that Fortune Jack is a Provably Fair casino.
In case you’re new to this whole digital, online casino thing, let me tell you Provably Fair casinos are casinos which let you verify a casino’s fairness. They generally have a page on their site giving you transparency and access to the site’s algorithm which guarantees you that the games aren’t rigged, or the platform isn’t coded to make the player always lose, and that the results are really randomly chosen.
Apart from being Provably fair, Fortune Jack also has trust-seals from a number of high profile companies and brands such as McAfee, AskGamblers, Bitcoin Foundation, Godaddy etc. Even though these seals don’t mean a lot, they still indicate the trust of those brands or their affiliation with each other in some way so it does amount to something I guess.
Then comes the licensing and registration part, FortuneJack is a completely licensed and legalized platform under the Curacao laws, and provides its license no (8048/JAZ2016-026) and registration no (LP1732) along with its office details (29 Clifton House Fitzwilliam Street Lower Dublin 2, Ireland) on its homepage which helps enforce the fact that it’s legal and can be trusted.
So now let’s move on to the second aspect that comes into play after the establishment of the trust, Bonuses. Bonuses are basically promotional offers that a Bitcoin casino offers which generally is in the form of increasing your deposits and funds by X% and free spins.
FortuneJack is one of the most rewarding casinos in terms of Bonuses, it offers a 110% first deposit bonus up to 1.5 BTC, along with 250 free spins! It’s literally doubling your first deposit, then there’s a 50-50-100% deposit bonus again on your second, third and fourth deposits respectively!
Although yes, the one aspect it slightly disappointed me was the fact that it doesn’t offer a weekly bonus, such as on specific days of the week, neither are there any fixed loyalty bonuses for being a regular player, but yes global events do bring some bonuses occasionally such as currently it has this St. Patrick Day’s Euro 3500 prize pool going on, but that probably won’t exist by the time you read this.
Anyway, the total fixed bonus adds up to around 310% which I’d say is a pretty big number. After bonuses, the next aspect we should take a look at is the number and types of games available, cause hey a casino without enough games wouldn’t really be interesting, would it?
It’s an extremely game-rich casino, with over 1,000 games in its arsenal and let me tell you that just as well may be the highest number of games including Slots, Jackpots, Roulette, Poker, Blackjack and live games!
Slots is the most heavily populated type with around 700 games in this individual category alone, other categories such as Jackpot has 23 games, Roulette has 20 and so on. So, like most other casinos, FortuneJack too is dominated by slots which I personally have no problem with.
FortuneJack also offers Live Games, and Live Games as I explained earlier are played in the real-world, on a real table, the players can bet using their computers, and the game along with the results is streamed in real time to your computers.
The registration process for FortuneJack isn’t any harder than signing up on Social media, in fact, it’s probably even simpler, the only details required are E-mail, password, and country. Yes, there are casinos with lesser requirements but this isn’t complicated either.
When it comes to supported currencies, FortuneJack is a strictly Crypto only platform, meaning while there are other platforms which do support fiat currencies such as USD or EUR, FortuneJack has kept itself restricted to only Cryptocurrencies, which include Bitcoins, DogeCash, Dash, ZCash, Monero Ethereum, Doge, Litecoin And Bitcoin Cash.
In my opinion, it’s a good step, as Bitcoin, or any other cryptocurrency is generally much more secure and anonymous than fiats. So if you’re a privacy lover like me, you’d see it as a blessing, while for someone who’d like to use his/her credit/debit cards on the platform, it may be a curse but hey that’s a personal perspective.
After the support for currencies come the limits, there are no maximum withdrawal limits so whatever you win, regardless of how big or small the amount is, can always be cashed out, while there’s a minimum deposit limit of 0.01 mBTC.
And then finally, let’s talk about their support team? As I said earlier, their support is one of the primary reasons why I listed them at the #1 spot on this Bitcoin casino list, it’s ultra responsive. They can be reached via E-mail or live-chat both of which are monitored and replied to, and in addition to that, they do reply to comments and questions on forums such as AskGamblers.
So I believe that explains just about everything that you ought to know about FortuneJack, doesn’t it? Although here’s a more detailed FortuneJack review that you may be interested in.
Let’s take a look at the #2 spot holder for this list of best Bitcoin gambling sites.
Betchain is probably the oldest Bitcoin casino in this list, dating as far as back 2013, and that makes it more experienced than even FortuneJack, although I wasn’t aware of its potential so I only checked it out last month and I must say I’m impressed.
Here’s the overview:
- Website: https://www.betchain.com/
- Sign up: Instant and anonymous + Social network login available.
- Bonus: 100% Signup Bonus
- Other Bonuses: Highroller bonus, second, third and fourth bonuses + Weekly, monthly as well as Hourly bonuses.
- Games: 500+
- Currencies: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, ETH, Doge, RUB, AUD, CAD, ZAR, SEK, NOK.
- Provably Fair.
- Exclusive VIP Club.
- License: Curacao laws.
- Support: Live Chat / Emails.
- Rating: 4/5
After mBit this may very well be the most Bonus-rich casino in the industry, and that’s one of the major guiding factors behind Betchain making up the #4 spot and not sliding further down.
So as is customary with me, let’s start with the trust-factors, yes it too is a provably fair casino granting complete access to its randomness of results to users who wish to verify its legitimacy. Secondly, it too is licensed by the same old trustworthy Curacao laws and as you may have seen it’s the common license provider for almost all the casinos we’ve talked about so far.
Then, because we’ve included the trust-seals in the other reviews, let me tell you that Betchain probably has the maximum number of trust-seals that we’ve ever seen on any Bitcoin casino, 42 to be exact although not all of these indicate trust, and some are simply to show that Betchain supports the companies, such as Visa/Skrill etc.
The bonuses are what make it really special, it offers a 100% welcome bonus upto 1BTC, or 200EUR along with 200free spins. Then there are other unique bonuses, such as a Highroller bonus which grants you a 75% bonus when you deposit more than 2BTC or 500EUR. There also is a 75% second deposit bonus along with 50% third and 50% fourth deposit bonuses. Hence making the total fixed deposit nearly 350%! That’s more than what any other Bitcoin casino is offering on this entire list! (Although there are limitations).
It’s not done with Bonuses yet, there also are weekly bonuses providing for 15% cashbacks on Tuesdays, 50% bonus on Wednesdays, along with a monthly 500EUR prize pool, and Happy hour bonuses which are random hours in a day when certain bonuses are E-mailed to the players!
As if all this wasn’t enough, they also have included an exclusive VIP CLUB, which has 4 membership levels, namely Silver, Gold, Platinum and Black, each of these levels have their own special privileges, for e.g. there’s a 50% bonus for every membership level every Sunday, on the other hand a 5% cashback is granted to the Silver level members, while it’s 25% for black level members so yes they have their differences.
So in a nutshell, I guess you’ll agree that it’s the most bonus-rich casino we’ve talked about so far. Although bonuses aren’t its only strong-suits, when it comes to number of games too it offers as many as 500+ games, and again with more categories then we normally encounter, the types include 3D slots, Roulette, slots, video poker, card games, Baccarat, Craps, Minesweeper, Horse Racing Bitcoin Dice, Jackpots, and Live dealers.
And once more, Slots is the category with most number of games, although the user-interface of Betchain is such that I was unable to calculate the exact number of games available under each categories. But yes as a total it does have over 500 games.
Then moving on to the registration process, it’s no harder than registering on any other Bitcoin casino we’ve talked about so far, no personal details or documents are asked for, the E-mail along with a password, and preferred currency is all that’s needed, and the accounts are activated instantly. Betchain also is probably the only Bitcoin casino in this list which lets you signup using your social networks such as Facebook/Twitter etc.
Even when it comes to supported currencies, it supports quite a few of them including the Cryptocurrencies Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, ETH, and Doge as well as fiats which includes RUB, AUD, CAD, ZAR, SEK, and NOK. So yes, it’s one of the most perfectly well-balanced Bitcoin casino as far as currency support goes, not leaning towards any one single type and supporting both Crypto as well as Fiat currencies.
Finally, the support team has a live-chat as well as E-mail system in place, but in my own experience as well as according to the reviews from other users, they aren’t that supportive, neither fast, so it’s a great casino as long as you don’t need manual support from the team.
1xBit is the second-last Bitcoin casino on this list, does that mean it’s not as good as the others? Not at all! Although some aspects, primarily trust-factor is the reason where it doesn’t compare to the above listed casinos and is listed at #6 on this list. Here’s an overview for 1xBit:
- Website: https://1xbit.com
- Sign up: 1-click registration available.
- Welcome Bonus: 100% (upto 1BTC).
- Other Bonuses: Game based bonuses + daily bonuses.
- Games: 400+
- Currencies: BTC, DogeCoin, Ethereum, Monero, Litecoin, ZCash, NEM, BTCGold, BTCH, Funcoin, Ethereum Classic, BitShares, xGox etc.
- Partially Provably Fair.
- License: Not Available.
- Support: Live Chat / Emails.
- Rating: 3/5
1xBit is a German website, hence you’ll need to translate it in order to start understanding what’s written (unless ofcourse you secretly hold a PhD in German). Considering the trust factors, it recently added only 3 games under its provably fair section, all the other games aren’t.
Also, there’s no page which actually showed me the algorithm or randomness so I’m still sceptical about its fairness. In addition, I couldn’t find any registration details, license number or license provider for the platform either. So my advice at this point is, do check it out but with smaller amounts.
It does provide bonuses though, even if they’re nowhere near what mBit or Betchain are offering, but still a 100% welcome bonus is there along with some other Daily bonuses which seem to be changing everyday, but are around 30-50%. These two are the only types of bonuses available, another reason why I didn’t list it at a better position.
The number of games available is not only satisfactory, rather impressive, the Slots category itself has around 40 game providers, and each of these game providers has anywhere between 20-200 games, that multiplied with 40 adds up to a rather huge number! Although the other types are poorly classified, and the only two other types I could locate were Poker and Live casino. Except those, the IXGames section has a collection of around 50 games, including Roulette, Minesweeper etc.
Even though I don’t generally bring in user-interface to these reviews, I’ll make an exception for 1xBit and say that the user-interface is laggy, clustered and confusing, not to mention that the language translations aren’t always perfect so it can be really frustrating at times.
Although 1xBit has included two registration methods and not just one. The unique and exclusive method of one click registration makes it special, you simply choose your currency, and provide your E-mail! Done. It literally takes seconds. It automatically assigns a password for your account, and advanced options let you download the details, or even save them as a picture.
While the other traditional method of using your E-mail along with a password and currency exists as well just in case you’d want to choose your own password and take the road more travelled by.
The currency support is pretty impressive as well, it supports Bitcoin (obviously)along with Doge, Game, XEM, Dash, LTC, ETH, XMR, ZEC, Function coins. So yes, it’s a crypto-only Bitcoin casino without any support for fiat currencies. If that’s a good or bad thing will depend on your personal perspective of anonymity Vs ease of deposits.
I must say I was impressed with their support-team, I initiated a live-chat and I thought I wouldn’t get a reply as it was in German, but they auto-transferred my chat from the German person (Gabriella) to some English guy (Daniel) and I had a fluent English conversation! Here’s the chat:
The same holds true for their E-mails, they replied to my test-email (I always send one to test a platform’s response time) within 10 hours, and in English. So regardless of everything else, the support team at 1xBit is one of the best I’ve ever seen.
So in a nutshell, 1xBit isn’t my first choice when it comes to a Bitcoin casino, but it surely is one of the choices, also 1xbit lets you gamble on live, real world games such as Horse racing, basketball, soccer etc even though that’s a different section it still falls under a Bitcoin casino.
Finally, Cloudbet is the last Bitcoin casino that I’ve been with and have some days of personal experience. Fair warning though, keep your expectations for features low, while entertainment and game-playing isn’t compromised with. Here’s an overview:
- Website: https://www.cloudbet.com
- Sign up: Fast and anonymous.
- Games: 626 (exactly!)
- Bonus: 100% Sign up Bonus.
- Other Bonuses: Not available.
- Currencies: Only Bitcoin.
- Not Provably Fair.
- Licensed: E-gambling Montenegro.
- Support: Live Chat / Emails.
Cloudbet is one of the least feature-rich casinos out there and that’s a fact. Considering its trust-factors, no it’s not Provably fair hence not allowing you to verify its fairness or randomness. And even though it is licensed under E-Gambling Montenegro laws, the firm itself is under a lot of scrutiny for a number of reasons so the license can’t exactly be considered trustworthy.
It’s rather limited with bonuses as well, there’s just one single 100% signup bonus and that’s all so that’s a major turnoff for me as well. Although it makes up for this loss when it comes down to its number of games, it has 625 games in its arsenal (Yes, I counted). The types and categories of available games too is acceptable, it offers Slots, which is the most heavily populated type as expected, with 467 games.
Then there are the jackpot slots, with 20 games, followed by video poker consisting of 48 games and then the Table games have 56 games and finally the Instant win type has 35 games to its credit. There also is a separate category called Bingo and Keno with 6 extra games. So in a nutshell, yes it’s a game-rich Bitcoin casino.
As for supported currencies, it’s a Bitcoin only casino, no other Fiat or cryptocurrency is supported (probably now you’re getting why it’s listed at #7, aren’t you?). Although yes, in terms of anonymity and privacy, this is actually a good thing.
The registration process is extremely simple too, although it does ask for your date of birth, in addition to the D.O.B the E-mail and password are required and that’s all. So except the slight breach in anonymity, I felt for the D.O.B, it’s all well and good.
And finally, the support team can be reached via the same old methods, i.e. Live-chat as well as E-mails and despite their rather slow start and features for now, the support team is rather active and does reply to questions within hours via mails, and obviously instantly on the live chat.
Anyway, those were the top 7 Bitcoin casinos in the industry, and I’ve tried my best to bring forward as transparent and detailed a picture as possible, now let’s head over to some of the basics that you may want to know before stepping onto a Bitcoin casino.
If the crypto casinos listed above impressed you, tone your expectations down. Montecryptos. It’s a good casino, but that’s it. It’s not “awesome” or “impressive”.
- Website: https://www.montecryptos2.com/
- Sign up: Identification required
- Sign up Bonus: 240 EUR
- Currencies: MAny fiat modes + Bitcoin
- Provably Fair: No
- License: Curacao laws.
- Support: Live Chat
- Rating: 3/5
It offers a 240EUR welcome bonus for starters. You get 100% on your deposit, with the maximum limit being 240 EUR. Other level-based bonuses sure are available, they may go up to 1500 EUR+ 500 free spins if and when you reach VIP level 10.
Quite a bit of identification too is required just for signing up and also for withdrawals. You need to enter your country, date of birth, real name and other such data. However, it still is a Bitcoin crypto casino that’s truly fair and random with its results.
It holds a license from Curacao (obviously). A few hundred games are available for now. There’s no live-chat which is a kind of a downer. The lack of other crypto deposit modes may hurt some of you as well, however, you can always use fiat modes to deposit Bitcoin and that’s what you’re looking for, aren’t you?
For withdrawals, the first withdrawal takes a bit longer and then it’s pretty fast for consecutive withdrawals.
Fortunately though, it’s one of the very few online crypto casinos which allows the use of a VPN! Even they officially recommend NordVPN for accessing the casino.
Oshi has a few things that it does right, and a few wrong! Beware though, it’s not for you if you’re looking for an anonymous crypto casino! It requires very extensive verification for withdrawals.
- Signup Bonus:$300 + 250 free spins
- Currencies:Both Crypto and fiats
- License:Curacao laws.
- Support:Live Chat/Emails
The total bonus, spread across first 3 deposits is $300.00. The first, second and third deposits are matched 100%, 50% and 150% respectively. Each of these are capped at $100.00
Everyday, on each deposit, you get 40% bonus up to $100.00 . It’s licensed under the Curacao laws. It’s not a Provably Fair casino and hence result legitimacy can’t be independently verified. However, it claims all games are RNG certified!
For payments, both Cryptocurrencies (BTC/ETH/LTC/USDT) as well as fiats accepted.
Minimum deposit is 0.001 for BTC, $10.00 for fiats. The same limits apply to withdrawals as well.
For support, there’s a 24X7 live-chat available.
How to buy Bitcoins?
In order to gamble on a Bitcoin casino, you need to learn how to buy Bitcoins in the first place, right? Well the process is pretty easy and simple, there are many platforms which let you buy Bitcoins using your credit/debit cards instantly, but my personal favorite is Cex.io.
So head over to www.cex.io, and click on the Buy/sell button on the top-bar. Then you can select the amount for which you wish to buy Bitcoins from a very clean interface.
Login/Register on the platform, enter your card details and complete the ownership verification if they ask for it, once the payment goes through, the Bitcoins would be reflected in your account. You can send these Bitcoins anywhere from this Cex.io wallet whenever you need to do so.
Note that, some Bitcoin casinos also let you buy Bitcoins directly on the platforms (casinos), so check if the casino has a buy Bitcoin link and then click on it to proceed with the purchase.
The process may differ for different casinos but following the screen instructions will generally get you there. Here’s a more detailed guide on How to buy Bitcoins with more options in case you wish to explore them.

Differences between a Bitcoin casino and a Real-life Casino
If there’s still some doubt left regarding what Bitcoin casinos are, this section will totally clear them up.
The most important and primary difference between a real-life and a Bitcoin casino is that while the real-life casino is built of rock and cement and has a physical existence, a Bitcoin casino is made out of Codes and is just a website.
The second major difference is that, while in real-life casinos you buy chips using your real money, and then bet using those chips, while in a Bitcoin casino, you first buy Bitcoins using your real money and then bet using the Bitcoins (or other Cryptocurrencies).
Thirdly, there’s a lot of age and other requirements in a real-life casino, while on these online casinos anyone with access to a computer, internet and some Bitcoins can start gambling, although some casinos do require you to be 18+.
Also, there’s a lot more anonymity in a these online casinos as compared to a real-life casino, you have to physically go to a real-life casino, where people will see and maybe recognize you. While in any of these internet casinos, you’re someone sitting in your room in a jungle maybe behind your screen, and no one knows who you are. This also adds up to a lot of saved time and energy.
Another difference is that all the online casinos offer a Welcome bonus, which is generally a percentage (100%-110%-200% or even 300% in some cases) of your deposits, so they provide you the bonus amount for free when you deposit your money, it’s not something that real-world casinos do (with some exceptions).
How to Deposit Bitcoins and other funds on a Bitcoin Casino?
In the How to get started on a Bitcoin casino section I promised I’ll show you how to deposit Bitcoins on a casino, so here it is. The deposit process is pretty simple, first of all you need to login to your casino account and locate a deposit button.
Once you see a button or link, click on it and choose the currency you wish to deposit. And all the casinos will get you a deposit address for the currency you’re depositing even if it’s not in Bitcoin.
Now, go to the platform where you have the Bitcoins or any other currency which you purchased, and there always will be an option called Withdrawal/cashout. Click on it, enter the address provided to you by the casino, and send the funds to the address. Done! It may take couple minutes to hours based on the currency you’re sending but that’s how you deposit funds to a Bitcoin casino.
Is Buying/Selling or Using Bitcoins Illegal?
A common misconception with Bitcoin is that it’s illegal! Nope, it’s not illegal, not in any country of the world. In some countries, it may be restricted at best and may need identity verification or other details to be used, but it’s not illegal.
Bitcoin is only illegal if you use it to launder money, finance terrorism or any other such act, so it’s not the currency which is illegal, it’s the act. In other words, you can buy/sell and use Bitcoins freely without worrying about any legal disputes as long as you’re using them for the right reasons, and the money with which you bought Bitcoins came from legal sources.
Is Gambling on these Cryptocurrency Casinos Illegal?
The broad answer is, no. Not at all. Just like gambling in any real-life casino isn’t illegal, so it isn’t illegal on an online casino as well. Although yes, in some countries gambling as a whole may be illegal, for e.g. in Bangladesh, China, Pakistan etc. If you’re a resident of those countries, in that case, yes gambling and betting may be considered Illegal.
Here are some countries where Gambling is illegal either as a whole, or only some specific forms of Gambling is allowed, and I’d recommend you to do a Google search for your countries’ gambling laws if it’s in this list:
- New Zealand
- Hong Kong
Can you Trust Online Bitcoin Casinos?
Trust here indicates the trust of them keeping your funds and account details safe, and the fact that they’ll live up to their end of promises when it comes to bonuses, or withdrawals.
The answer to the question is, verify the trust-level of the casinos manually. How to verify a casino’s trust level? Check out if the casino is Provably fair?
Provably-fair is a term occurring multiple times throughout this list of the best Bitcoin Casinos in 2021. Not everyone searching for the best Bitcoin Casinos would know what Provability is, and hence allow us to elaborate the same.
The Provably fair Casinos allow users to audit/verify that the results are really “Fair”. As in random and not pre-determined in the Casino’s favor. In most cases, you’d see an option/interface similar to the following screenshot (or atleast a button saying “Provably fair”) next to the game you’re playing
This means the game’s fairness can be verified. However there are a number of misconceptions regarding Provability.
Note that not all games will have a Provability-checking option. This doesn’t mean that the game is NOT fair. “Provably-fair” and “fairness” in general are two separate ideas. Just because the game isn’t allowing verification isn’t proof of it being unfair.
Also, some Casinos do not have a Provability page altogether. This too doesn’t mean that the Casino isn’t fair. The provability depends on the games and the game-providers.
So even if the Provability page is missing, if games from BGaming, Evolution Gaming, SoftSwiss etc. are offered the chances of those games being “not-fair” is next to impossible. These are some of the most reputed game-providers in the online gambling industry.
And then, the licensing that these Casinos obtain require the Casinos to be fair, regardless of a “Provably-fair” page being or not being available. But sure, it’s best to avoid Casinos which don’t even have a license or refrain from sharing basic details about it.
Also, do your own research. For e.g. how old is the casino? Check out its reviews, license, registration and registrar, and that should get you an idea of the casino’s reputation.
But yes, the casinos I’ve included in this list are some of the most trust-worthy Bitcoin gambling sites, even though not all of them are Provably fair.
How to be Anonymous on a Bitcoin Betting Site?
There are many reasons why you’d want to be anonymous on a Bitcoin casino, it’s not illegal but even then some people do not want the world to know of their gambling habits. In that case, make sure that the Bitcoin casino you’re gambling on, doesn’t ask for any proof of identity details, such as your Voter’s card, social security number etc.
Also, while registering on the casino, use an E-mail ID that’s not linked to you, or your name, something like [email protected] [email protected] is a good idea. And then, do not use your real name as the username either instead again go with something random. Recommended is use any anonymous email service like Protonmail, Tutanota and etc.
Make sure you use only Bitcoin and no other fiat currency, neither your credit/debit cards if you’re aiming for anonymity on a Bitcoin casino because Bitcoin is anonymous and can’t be traced, while fiats as well as your credit/debit card details can be.
Additionally, you can use a VPN to mask your IP address and location as well although that’s a more hardcore approach and is an overkill in most cases.
For double-layer security, my recommendation to you, Use NordVPN service, that offers dedicated and double later VPN servers for high-class anonymity or security and NordVPN servers available in more than 61+ countries and 3600+ Servers.
Precautions you must take on a Bitcoin casino
I just got you 7 of the best Bitcoin casinos. But, there are a few points I’d like you to pay attention to. For starters, make sure that you do not create more than one account from the same IP address or computer on a casino.
Almost all the casinos have a strict “one account/household” policy. Hence, if and when it’s detected, you may lose all your previous funds, progress and everything else.
It’s a mistake most users make when they forget their login credentials. If that’s you, then simply contact support and let them know of the problem. In some cases, they allow a second account if the first can’t be retrieved. However, if done so without notice, it may lead to permanent ban from the casino.
Secondly, never deposit funds without reading the “bonus terms and conditions” on a casino. Hey, I get it, we all hate lengthy pieces of legal language. But then, with some casinos, there are very specific requirements for you to be avail the bonuses.
E.g. most will have a minimum deposit requirement (which will be different from the standard min. deposit requirement) in order to avail bonuses. In other cases, you’ll need to enter bonus code manually. And, in some rare cases, you may have to manually contact support for bonus redemption.
And hey, finally, never store more funds in your casino wallet then you absolutely have to. Always transfer them to a more secure Bitcoin wallet.
Which Countries Allow you to Gamble on these Casinos?
Again, it’s a very subjective and vague question, I only address this because I’m sure many of you have it lurking in your brains. Some countries do not allow gambling at all, others do allow some kind of gambling and there’s no specific list for this.
The best way to know if your country allows or doesn’t allow gambling is to go to Google and search for Does (your country name) allow Gambling? And if it does, then check the country’s Bitcoin and online gambling laws just to be sure.
Additionally, you can refer to the above list of countries I listed some time ago for the countries which do not allow Gambling or allow it in a very restricted form.
Do you need to use a VPN on an Online Casino?
Nope, it’s not mandatory unless you wish to have military grade encryption and anonymity. In case you do, I’d recommend you to go with NordVPN, which has advanced features such as Double VPN, Onion over VPN, Anti DOS, Dedicated IP for added security.
Well there are a couple aspects that you need to know before getting started with a VPN. Using a VPN only grants you the “technical bypass” required to access and use these casinos. If Bitcoin gambling is illegal in your country, using a VPN doesn’t legalize it.
Meaning, you’re only making it “appear” as if you’re from a different country which is accepted on the Casino and where Bitcoin gambling is legal. However, you actually still are in your own country where Bitcoin betting is illegal.
So, it’s still a crime and you may be prosecuted by law under whatever rules apply against BTC gambling in your country/region.
Do we encourage the use of VPNs on Bitcoin Casinos? Well yes, totally. But only if Bitcoin gambling is already legal in your country. You may use a VPN to hide your IP address, exact location and other details about yourself. This is completely and 100% legal, as long as Bitcoin gambling is legal. The VPN will only add to your anonymity and you’re still not breaking any laws.
So note that while using a VPN on a casino is advisable, be sure to use Google (or anonymous search engines) to establish the legalities of Crypto gambling in your country before doing so.
Final Words on Bitcoin Casino
So that’s a wrap as far as this piece on Bitcoin lottery (casino) goes folks! I’ve tried my best to cover every single detail that exists, or you need to know about Bitcoin gambling.
Starting from the basics of Bitcoin, to buying Bitcoins, depositing them on a Casino, and the detailed reviews of the top 7 casinos in the industry, don’t you agree this is the most detailed piece that exists on the topic on whole of the Internet?
Anyway, do let me know what you think of this piece, and if you feel something needs to be added to this Bitcoin casino piece on our Facebook page, your feedback matters.
4. Crypto Games
- Website: https://crypto.games/
- Sign up: No documents required / instant.
- Bonuses: Game-based bonuses, Weekly and Reload bonuses.
- Currencies: BTC, ETH, LTC, DASH, ETC, DOGE, SOL and others.
- Provably Fair: Yes
- License: Curacao laws.
- Support: Emails
- Rating: 5/5
Any Bitcoin casino site that’s Provably Fair gets our instant approval, that’s the case with CryptoGames as well. All the games and their results can be verified to be fair independently. It’s also a licensed crypto casino and is run under the laws of Curacao.
Then, it’s one of the very few Bitcoin casinos that lets us choose the withdrawal speed. In other words, withdrawals are generally fast.
As the name suggests, it’s a crypto-only casino. It accepts payments via BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, BCH, DASH, ETC, DOGE and many others.
However, it does have a fiat provider which facilitates crypto buying via credit cards. ETH and BTC can be purchased using Onramper.
A plethora of games are available, these include Minesweeper, Dice, Plinko, Slot, Lottery and others. It has pretty affordable minimum limits, starting at just 0.0001BTC. It even allows withdrawals as small as 0.0005 BTC making sure you aren’t locked out of your wins.
The bonuses are a bit confusing and aren’t broken down into “first/second/third” deposits.
Even the current house edge is set at just 1%. Signup is completely anonymous and doesn’t require any verifications. Obviously, the fiat payments (if and when used) KYC verifications may be required.
There’s no live-chat, support is available 24X7 via emails.
